In his last post Ramon Leon threatened that he would be writing more blog posts on GemStone and here’s his second installment: Installing a Gemstone Seaside Server on Ubuntu 10.10. Ramon includes instructions for:
- init.d scripts
- Apache with FastCGI setup
- GemTools installation for X11 forwarding

I just finished some Chef cookbooks for setting up GemStone on a
Vagrant box. They’ll let you setup a Vagrant VM and install GemStone
on it. I used this post for quite a bit of the setup. Hope you all check it out.
